These beautiful, relaxing photos remind me of God’s amazing blessing of nature and all He has created for us. These were taken at SeaWorld, Orlando.

Encouragement from God’s Word:

  • “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart;” Jeremiah 1:5a
  •  “Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters,whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind.James 1:2-6
  •  “Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him.” James 1:12
  • Believers in humble circumstances ought to take pride in their high position.” James 1:9
  •  “Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows. He chose to give us birth through the word of truth, that we might be a kind of firstfruits of all he created.” James 1:18-19
  •  “But whoever looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues in it—not forgetting what they have heard, but doing it—they will be blessed in what they do.” James 1:25
  •  “Those who consider themselves religious and yet do not keep a tight rein on their tongues deceive themselves, and their religion is worthless. Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.” James 1:26-27
  • “Blessed is the onewho does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers,but whose delight is in the law of the Lord,and who meditates on his law day and night.That person is like a tree planted by streams of water,  which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither—whatever they do prospers.” Psalm 1:1-3 
  • “Jesus replied: Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself.” Matthew 22: 37-39
  • “Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort.” 2 Corinthians 1:3.
  • “Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.” Lamentations 3:22-23.

Do you know the Good News?

  • “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16
  • “This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.” 1 John 4:10
  • “Now in Christ Jesus you who once were far away have been brought near through the blood of Christ.” Ephesians 2:13-14
  • “For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him, and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross.” Colossians 1:19-20
  • “Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.” 1 Peter 1:3
  • “God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8

There are a lot of resources available to help with encouragement during difficult times, for individual needs and circumstances, for families with teens, children, dieter’s and more.  Here are some that I recommend which are both inexpensive and very helpful in sharing God’s Words of encouragement in a practical and organized fashion.     1. Absolutely! God’s incredible encouragement is overflowing throughout the Bible. I love sharing key verses that I find bring me joy, peace, strength, and courage to face each day. I figure it will be a blessing to others too. 🙂

  2. I’m encouraging all I can to avoid the sales (today is Black Friday) like I am, and focus on family and friends more, and possession accumulation less! Amen.

  3. Your pictures are just beautiful. Yes they are part of Gods great creation. I really appreciate the great verses. I know we all have to go through trials so God can burn off the chaff. It is so hard going through them but I know I am stronger when I come out on the other side. Thank you so much for sharing
